Enhancements
Soft Gel Enhancements
Soft Gel Enhancements are the biggest nail trend at the moment! The most popular by Apres Gel-X, Kokoist Gelip, and Kiara Sky Gelly Tips. They may all have different names, but they are all effectively the same with similar processes. Soft Gel Enhancements resemble a clear press on tip and is applied to the natural nail using a soft gel. They are much thinner and lighter than traditional nail enhancements and don’t require harsh filing to the nail plate. If you are looking for ‘instant’ nails for a special occasion or you’re looking for a more natural looking enhancement, this service is perfect for you.
Hard Gel Enhancements
Do you usually get gel powder? I’m going to tell you a secret…That’s not a real thing. For years nail salons have pushed gel powder as a better service than plain acrylic, but that’s exactly what is is! Acrylic! So…is acrylic bad? No, It’s perfectly fine! What’s bad is nail techs who over file your nail plate to the point it burns, rush through your service without doing what you asked, and leave you with crooked nails and bleeding cuticles. Ok, so now that I’ve got that out of the way! Acrylic and Hard Gel give you the same results, just two different processes. Acrylic is the purple liquid and white powder you see at most nail salons and Hard Gel is thick viscosity gel cured in a UV/LED lamp. Both can be applied on tips or forms, be long or short, and come in lots of fun colors. If you’re looking for a perfect ombre, 3D flowers, or lots of encapsulation, Acrylic is for you! If you love gel and want a low/no odor option, select Hard Gel!
Nail Art
The best part of the service and probably one of the reasons why you picked me! I love nail art! If I tried to individually price every option or make a full menu, it would be waaaay too long. Instead I’ve made some guides below, to give you an idea of my different options along with which service to book. At the moment, I only offer new clients to book simple nail art. Why? I love exploring different styles of nail art with my clients and making sure they’re happy with the result. In order to get these results, I had to get to know them as a person and they had to trust me to achieve their vision. Unfortunately, I can’t guarantee this will happen on our first visit, but I can assure you even simple art is worth it! Is there a certain type of nail art you don’t see on the chart? Send me a note when you schedule your appointment, and I’ll send you some options!
